Alkonost ContraCopy can create floppy disks for a copy protected software distribution system, or for preparing key diskettes, using an ordinary 1.44 MB floppy drive.
ContraCopy enables preparing and identifying diskettes with special format (diskettes contain identification information, which can be read from your executable file only).
Applications protected by ContraCopy run under Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP/XP SP2/XP 64-Bit/2003.
No other hardware or software can make correct copies of ContraCopy diskettes.
Alkonost ContraCopy is a tool for programmers for Visual C++, VB.NET, Visual Basic, Borland Delphi and C++ Builder.
Registered users receive code samples for using the ContraCopy diskettes from the executable file, and the software for preparing ContraCopy diskettes.
To protect your software, you need to modify your executable file, so that it can read the identification information from the diskette. If this information does not correspond to your ContraCopy diskette, the program presumes that the diskette was copied and does not proceed with further operations.

• Standard 1.44 MB 3.5" floppy drive
• Operating systems: Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP/XP SP2/2003
For using of ContraCopy diskettes you can be logged to NT/2000/XP without administrative privileges.

• 4 MB hard disk space
• Standard internal 1.44 MB 3.5" floppy drive
• Operating systems: Windows 98/Me/2000/2003/XP SP2/XP
Alkonost ContraCopy Demo
You can download the Alkonost ContraCopy Demo software that allows preparing ContraCopy demo diskettes.
If you try to create a copy of an original demo diskette and start the test program, you'll see the message "Not original disk!".
The system requirements for Demo version are the same as for the ContraCopy Disk Creating System (see above).
